| What is EVENTSLATE.com? | |
This site is designed to a be single repository (database) for all professional conferences, shows and events. Here, conference organizers can enter and maintain details for their conference, including logo, title, location and web site. Conference attendees will find this site a useful tool to choose from and manage all the conferences they plan to attend. Several additional features are planned to help conference goers manage (and promote) the events they are attending and speaking at. Suggetions for new features are always welcome. |

| Why did you create EVENTSLATE.com? | |
| I have the privilege of traveling to, attending and mostly speaking at conferences around the country. Every few months, I have to scour the web for the latest conference announcements, dates and locations. By creating this site, I hope the next time I need to research conferences, they'll all be here for me to choose from. | |
| Are you only listing only Tech conferences? | |
| This site is intended for all conferences. Right now, tech conferences are all I go to, so you'll see mostly conferences in that industry. As the site catches on to other verticals, I hope to see it become a comprehensive tool for all types of professional conferences, shows and events. | |
| Why did you use Flash for the event list? | |
I initially built this site over a very short time and the only way I could get the interactivity I desired so quickly was to use Adobe Flex. At some point, as the list grows and I can further subsidize work on the site, I may explore other techniques. For now, Flex allowed me to deploy the site quickly, and I think somewhat stylishly. Since over 98% of web users have Flash, I know it's going to be visible by just about my entire audience. If you experience issues with the site, please send me a note using the suggestions page. |

| How do I add a conference? | |
You can suggest a conference to add by clicking the "Add Your Event" button in the bottom left of the event list on the home page. Your conference suggestion will go into a queue that is reviewed periodically, so please be patient. |

| How do I update a conference? | |
You can modify your conference by selecting it from the event list and click the "Update Your Event" button. Your conference modification will go into a queue that is reviewed periodically, so please be patient.. If your modification is critical, please let me know via the suggestion page. |

| Are you looking for sponsors? | |
Eventually, if there's lots of traffic, I'll open up the site for sponsors. There is space at the top right of the site to allow conference organizers to drive traffic to their conference listing and web site. For now, if you'd like to try your banner out on the site, you can contact me via the suggestion page. |
